My Role
Gensler is an integrated architecture, design and consulting firm and the worlds largest architecture firm. With over 7000 professionals and 53 offices globally, Gensler provides global reach with local expertise and integrated services across the Americas, Europe, Greater China, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

As Marketing Manager for the Australia New Zealand Region, I worked with the global marketing team, international stakeholders and designers and architects to develop Gensler's brand, marketing and business development activities in the region.

Integrated Strategy & Business Development
Leading numerous strategic and business development initiatives, my work included collaborating closely with senior leadership at local, regional, and global levels to provide strategic planning and direction on brand and marketing growth. This included engaging in strategy planning sessions with senior executives, leading the formulation of annual business and marketing plans, and creating integrated growth plans for multiple practice areas. Below is an example of an outlined strategic plan for the expansion of a practice area.
Social Media & PR Plan
Within my marketing role, I developed a comprehensive growth strategy plan encompassing both PR and multiple social media channels. This strategic plan was presented to the board of directors and subsequently adopted regionally as a benchmark for regional marketers to integrate global planning into local and regional initiatives to achieve brand recognition and growth.
Bespoke Tenders & Proposals
As the bid management lead for the region, I oversaw a diverse portfolio of bids and tenders, ranging from local pursuits to integrated regional and global pursuits. Throughout the entire bid lifecycle, I was responsible for pre-positioning, bid project management, execution, and post-bid analysis.
Employee Marketing Project & Training
I led a 12-week employee programme designed to train and develop marketing and business development skills for designers and architects. The programmes main objective was to empower employees with a comprehensive understanding of effective marketing and business development strategies, enabling them to contribute to winning work and furthering their own professional growth.
